Blackhorse Enhanced Vietnam Inc.
Blackhorse Asset Management (BAM) is licensed by the Securities Commission, Ministry of Finance to operate a representative office in Vietnam, the first foreign fund management company to receive such a license. BAM opened its office in Ho Chi Minh City in August 2006, staffed with a team of analysts.
Launched at the end of February, 2007, The Blackhorse Enhanced Vietnam Inc (BEVI) is an open-end fund, which has the ability to invest in Vietnam listed companies, OTC companies, and private companies. The Fund also has the ability to invest a limited percentage in Vietnam related offshore listed companies. BEVI's target portfolio is 60% pre-listed equities, 40% listed equities. The Fund also has the ability to leverage up to 150% of the listed portion of the portfolio through its prime broker Citigroup.
